Mrs. Aurélie Dupont entered the Paris Opera Ballet school (Ecole de Danse de l’Opéra de Paris) in 1983. In  1989 with only 16 years old she is engaged as “Corp of Ballet” in Paris Opera as a young promise for the company.

Aurélie climbs through the ranks of Paris Opera with great speed showing her amazing artistic talent and remarkable technique. In 1991 she becomes “Coryphée”; in 1992 she is promoted to “Sujét”; in 1996 she becomes “Premier Danseuse” and in the year 1998 after performing Don Quijote from Rudolf Nureyev Aurélie is nominated “Etoile”.

Aurélie Dupont is awarded the “Benois de la Danse” the year 2001 for her interpretation of Titania in John Neumeier´s “Mid Summer Night dream”.

During her career Aurélie Dupont has not only conquered the most important stages and theaters in the world (Paris, New York, Berlin, Tokyo, Milan, Sydney, Shanghai, Pekin, London) but has created some of the most important roles for the biggest choreographers in the world, becoming one of the most important ballet figures of the XXth and XXIst century.

Aurélie is known world-wide thanks also to her performances captured in DVD performing with Paris Opera the principal roles in Don Quijote; The Sleeping Beauty; Sylvia; Jewels and La Sylphide.

Aurélie Dupont was awarded the prestigious citation “Chevalier dans l´odre des Arts et des Lettres” in July of the year 2005.

Aurélie Dupont dances regularly with the Paris Opera and performs yearly in the biggest stages in Europe, Asia, America and Australia.
