About Us

Seaquist Dance Marketing has been created to satisfy the necessities of an emerging market not only in Europe, but at a global level. As demands in artistry and technique only get higher in today’s ballet world, there is a continuous lack of time for the artist to devote to his or her carreer development and marketing.

Seaquist Dance Marketing as a main purpose assumes the challenge of guiding and finding the best options available to achieve the greatest professional development both for the artist and his art.

While a dancer is taking class, rehearsing a new role, or the choreographer is creating a new piece, Seaquist Dance Marketing assumes and compromises with the responsabilty of doing everything possible to achieve and make their dreams come true.

History

Seaquist Dance Marketing is a young company, founded in 2004. It was born with the simplicity of most ideas that become valuable, with inspiration and strenght.

It is an idea that emerges from love to art. It is a company that emerges to revitalize the art of ballet and its new emerging talents. Its founders are artists who have lived the necessity of having not only professional but emotional support to manage and trustfully guide they're careers.

One of its founders, Paul A. Seaquist is an artist. He begins his relationship with the dance world when he starts his ballet studies at the School of Ballet of the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Chile.

He studies North American and English literature at Yale University, U.S.A. Devoted to creation and teaching, he publishes the books “Silencios”(Editorial Universitaria, 1997); “Cartagena” (Editorial Universitaria, 1999). Some of his stories are anthologised in the book “Chile después del 11 de septiembre” (Editorial Ficticia, 2003, México), published in Chile, Mexico and Argentina.

He has written the ballet librettos “Le Cirque” (written for Vladimir Malakhov), “La Muerte de Alsino”, “Pasión y muerte: Vincent Van-Gogh” and “Seven Days”.

He contributes literary essays to written press in Europe.

His relationship with the ballet world and the discovery of a void in the market take him to create Seaquist Dance Marketing.
